 Hospital central locking casters are in constant use, have to be maneuvered back and forth, sometimes through narrow aisles, and have to stand securely in the patient's room.

In order to meet these requirements, hospital beds must be equipped with appropriate castors. This also helps the staff: Poor hospital bed castors can pose a health risk, whereas good castors improve working conditions.

Requirements for hospital bed castors

A good mobility solution for hospital beds offers quiet and comfortable running, is robust, leaves no marks and can be locked in place and set in motion again quickly and easily. Ideally suited for this are swivel castors with total locking. These can be moved in all directions and securely locked immediately, if necessary.

 

In addition, strict hygiene regulations must be met - which is particularly important in medical facilities. Sealed precision ball bearings make it possible to clean the castors without any problems, and the use of high-quality materials makes the castors resistant to many detergents and disinfectants.

-----As you can see our wheel PU tread more thicker that’s ensure the wheels more durable,And common Chinese manufacturer use ABS or PP for the wheel hub, but we adopt PA66 which is more stronger and durable.

 

At current some of double wheels central locking casters use brake unit press the wheel lock wheels by frictional force,unreliable and difficult to operate. But we are use locking gear design,that's enable people operate easy with less force. Once locked the brake will never loose.

 

      Beside of this our wheel use round surface, so can reduce the wheel's friction with floor. This kind of central locking casters mainly used on hospital bed,medical cart,and medical chair....

At current we have two series of central locking casters wheels

 

1.Single wheel Central locking casters.we have Ø125mm, Ø150mm and Ø200mm 

 

2.Double wheels central locking casters.we have Ø100mm, Ø125mm and Ø150mm

Both series can be with Ø32 x 50mm stem or Ø28 x 97.5mm Stem.With 30 or 45 degree lock cam. And user have to check lock pedal to see when lock pedal on balance/neutral position the hex hole angle is same as A or B angle..... Then select the correct lock cam degree casters accordingly.



How to select central locking caster wheels lock?


As we know One bed will have 4 pc casters.How to match central locking caster wheels? Before talk about this we should know the difference of central lock.At current we have 3 type of locks.


* 2 step 30/45 degree Lock Cam--With x1 Neutral + x1 Total Locking =A

* 3 step 30/45 degree Lock Cam--With x2 Neutral + x1 Total Locking =B

* 3 step 30/45 degree Lock Cam--With x1 Neutral + x1 Direction lock + x1 Total Locking=C

The alignment of ONE bed of central locking casters need follow below 3 options.

1: 4 pc x A

2: 2 pc x B + 2 pc x C

3: 3 pc x B + 1 pc x C

4 :4 pc x C cannot work on ONE bed
